5. All requirements of Chapter 1, Development Procedures, of the City Land Development Code pertaining to Future Land Use Map Amendments and Zoning Map amendments have been met. 6. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan is revised to change the future land use designation from "I" Industrial, to "C" Commercial and "OS" Open Space, respectively, for: A. Street address: McCarty Lane at IH-35 North Size: 202 acres, more or less Legal Description: Sub-Area A, being a 63.2 acre, more or less, tract of land situated in the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey, Abstract 230, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "A;" and Sub-Area B , being a 12.6 acre, more or less, tract of land situated in the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey, Abstract 230, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "B;" and Sub-Area C, being a 78.0 acre, more or less, tract of land situated in the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey, Abstract 230 and the Cyrus Wickson Survey Abstract No. 474, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "C;" and Sub-Area D being a 48.2, more or less acre tract of land situated in the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey, Abstract 230 and the Cyrus Wickson Survey Abstract No. 474, as more particularly described in the attached Exhibit "D."
