<br />63. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 120 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND THE CAPITAL AREA PLANNING COUNCIL FOR PUBLIC <br />SAFETY ANSWERING POINTS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, <br />EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AND TRAINING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER'S EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached interlocal agreement between the City and the Capital <br />Area Planning Council ("CAPCO") for the Public Safety Answering Points ("PSAP") <br />maintenance, equipment upgrade and training in connection with the City's 9-1-1 services <br />is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4.
