Complaints filed with the FAA under 14 C.F.R. Part 16 are subject to an administrative review, <br />which entails consideration of the complainant's allegations and the airport sponsor's response to the <br />allegations. The FAA will make a formal written determination on the complaint. A determination <br />against the airport sponsor can result in an FAA action to withhold current and future grant funding <br />for the airport.
