• Part 21. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to increase appropriations for workforce training. <br />Part 22. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to increase funding for workforce housing for the workers who are the backbone of the <br />City of San Marcos, including increased opportunities for single-family home ownership in or <br />near employment centers. <br />Part 23. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to increase the availability of affordable housing including tax forgiveness. <br />Part 24. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to strengthen P-16 education. <br />Part 25. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to increase funding and programs at Texas State University in accordance with the schools <br />five year strategic plan. <br />Part 26. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly supports legislative <br />action to increase funding for adult education and literacy. <br />Part 27. The City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas strongly opposes <br />• legislative action to impose additional state fees or costs on City services, including additional <br />state fees or costs on municipal court convictions or require municipal courts to collect fine <br />revenue for the state. <br />Part 28.
