Accuracy of Digital Imagery:
Horizontal Accuracy
National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy (NSSDA)
(with respect to the client supplied control)
Projection, Datums, Units
Horizontal Control Datum: Texas State Plane, NAD 83, South Central Zone
Vertical Datum: NAVD 88
Units of Measure: US Survey Feet
Tiling/Naming Scheme
Client defined scheme in shape files provided named "index_usgs_g4" and using the TILE-NAME
attribute.
Specific area of interest for San Marcos is defined in shape files provided named "ETJ0508a". Tiles
are defined in shape files named "Tiles for_ETY and "TTile5t0130".
Due to the supplied tiles not being square to the projection requested, delivered orthos will be
somewhat larger than the actual tile area. The ortho extraction window will be tangent to the supplied
tile corners plus a minimum of 2 pixels outside the tile area.
Where new areas are defined and tiles do not exist, MJ Harden will create new tiles following the
same format.
Product Quality
All images shall be radiometrically and geometrically corrected to enable adjacent files to be
displayed simultaneously without obvious distinctions among them. Orthophotos should be clear and
shall not contain defects such as out-of-focus imagery, dust marks, scratches, or inconsistencies in tone
and density between individual orthophotos and/or adjacent sheets. Individual images should contain
less than 5% cloud cover. Overpasses, bridges, and tall buildings should be corrected to their true
horizontal position.
Data Validation
All draft imagery will be provided to CAPCOG in a single format (18:1 MrSID) that CAPCOG will
distribute to project members. The final products will then be delivered directly to members in their
requested format(s) (e.g. TIF and SID) and a copy will be provided to CAPCOG for archive and
distribution.
CAPCOG and project members will accept/reject deliverables, and MJ Harden will correct
deliverables, as set forth in section 2.4 of the contract agreement.
"Standard of Care" Quality Control documentation is attached to this document.
