RESOLUTION 2008- 167 R <br />E <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE <br />ISSUANCE OF A LUXURY LIMOUSINE SERVICE <br />CERTIFICATE TO MATT MCGEE, D/B/A TEXAS <br />BLACKHORN BUSES, FOR THE PROVISION OF <br />LUXURY LIMOUSINE SERVICE IN THE CITY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />• <br />1. On December 2, 2008 the San Marcos City Council held a public hearing regarding <br />an application for a Luxury Limousine Service Certificate submitted by Matt McGee, d/b/a <br />Texas Blackhom Buses, for the provision of luxury limousine services in the City. <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the City Council finds and determines <br />that the applicant meets the requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 90 of the San Marcos City Code <br />for operating a luxury limousine service. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The issuance of a Luxury Limousine Service Certificate to Matt McGee, d/b/a <br />Texas Blackhom Buses, is approved subject to presentation of proof of insurance in at least the <br />minimum amounts specified in Section 90.055 of the San Marcos City Code. <br />PART 2. The City Clerk, Sherri Mashburn, is directed to issue a Luxury Limousine <br />Service Certificate to Matt McGee, d/b/a Texas Blackhorn Buses upon submission of proof of <br />current insurance coverage meeting ordinance requirements, and payment of applicable fees to <br />the City. <br />PART 3.
