AfflQlermlar 0� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING THE SAN MARCOS HORIZONS CITY MASTER PLAN BY ADOPTING THE INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS CONTEXT SENSITIVE SOLUTIONS MANUAL AS AN APPENDIX TO THE TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN, REMOVING A PORTION OF LOOP 110 FROM THE TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN, AND ADDING AN EXTENSION OF LEAH AVENUE FROM CLOVIS BARKER ROAD TO MCCARTY LANE TO THE TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS RECITALS: 1. The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on July 27, 2010 regarding amendments to the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan and favorably recommended each amendment set forth in this ordinance. 2. The San Marcos City Council held a public hearing on the proposed amendments on August 3 2010. 3. The requirements for amendment of the San Marcos Horizons Master Plan set forth in Chapter I, Article 4, Division I of the San Marcos Land Development Code have been met, and the City Council finds and determines that the adoption of this ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare, and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan is hereby amended as follows: a. The Institute of Transportation Engineers Context Sensitive Solutions Manual is hereby adopted as an appendix to the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan; b. The Thoroughfare Plan is hereby amended to provide for the extension of Leah Avenue from Clovis Barker Road to McCarty Lane. c. The Thoroughfare Plan is hereby amended to delete the portion of FM I 10 lying between IH 35 and the southwest corner the city's outer loop as depicted on the map attached hereto. SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance are repealed.
