Consider an ordinance amending the traffic register maintained under Section 82.067 of the San Marcos Citv Code by amending the speed limits, including the addition of a school zone speed limit, along certain sections of F.M. 621 (Staples Highway) both directions between the citv limit line and SH 123; eliminating the school zone for the former Bowie Elementarv School; providing a savings clause; providing that all conflicting ordinances are repealed; and consider ordinance on first of two readings. The motion carried unanimously. 34. Discussion on the structuring, membership and functions of a Veterans' Affairs Committee, and provide direction to staff. Rodney Cobb, Director of Community Services, provided a list of Veteran's organizations and requested direction from Council in the development of this committee. He noted that this committee would report to the Parks Advisory Board. 35. Introduction of new Citv of San Marcos Directors; Finance Director, Development Services Director, and Chief Technology Officer.
