Consider approval of Chance in Services Authorization No. 4 with Eka Systems, Inc <br />for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Proiect in an amount not to exceed $192,140.62. <br />• <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Bose and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Jones <br />absent from the dais, to approve the Consent Agenda, less item 14, which was postponed <br />indefinitely. The motion carried unanimously. <br />END OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />15. Consider appointments to the following Boards and Commissions: <br />A. Airport Commission <br />B. Beautification Commission <br />Richard Skiles and Shaune Maycock were nominated to the Airport Commission; however, the <br />vote was 3 - 3, and four affirmative votes are required. It was suggested that this appointment <br />come back to Council when there is a full quorum. <br />Steve Blank was appointed to the Beautification Commission. <br />16. Consider adoption of Ordinance 2009-6 on emergency, amending Section 2.042 of the <br />City Code to change the order of business for regular city council meetings; including <br />procedural provisions; and declaring an ememencv. <br />• <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember <br />Bose, the City Council voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Jones <br />absent from the dais, to table Ordinance 2009-6 until the February 3 meeting.
