• (2) Irrigation of athletic fields with sprinklers is allowed only one day per week on <br />the designated weekday between the hours of midnight to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 <br />p.m. to midnight. <br />(3) Irrigation of plants in inventory at commercial nurseries is allowed on any day <br />and at any time. <br />(e) Vehicle washing is restricted as follows: <br />(1) Charity car washes are prohibited except at a certified commercial car wash. <br />(2) Non-commercial vehicle washing is allowed only on the designated weekday <br />between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to midnight and must <br />be done using a hand-held bucket or hand-held hose equipped with a positive <br />shutoff device. <br />(3) Commercial vehicle washing is allowed on any day and at any time. <br />(f) Swimming pools: <br />(1) Swimming pools located outdoors must have at least 25% of the water <br />surface area covered when not in use. <br />(2) Filling of new swimming pools is prohibited. <br />• (3) Filling and make-up of existing pools is allowed. <br />(g) Operation of outdoor aesthetic water features is prohibited. <br />(h) Washing of impervious surfaces is prohibited unless required for health and safety <br />use. <br />(i) Foundation watering is allowed only one day per week on the designated weekday <br />between the hours of midnight to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to midnight. <br />0) Other non-essential water uses are restricted as follows: <br />(1) Restaurants are allowed to serve water only upon specific request by the <br />customer. <br />(2) All other non-essential water use is prohibited. <br />Section 86.062. Stage 3 water use allowances and restrictions. <br />The following measures are in effect for any period when stage 3 of the drought <br />response plan is in effect: <br />(a) Waste of water is prohibited. <br />. (b) Irrigation with hose-end sprinklers and automatic sprinkler irrigation systems is <br />allowed only one day every other week beginning on the second Monday after stage 3 <br />9
