2) Transportation Manairement Activities. There shall be no limitation on the <br />Wes of transportation management activities for which reductions may be <br />granted from otherwise required off - street parkin; ratios. The following <br />measures shall serve as a guide to eligible transportation management <br />activities. <br />(3) Transportation Coordinator. The occupant of the development or use may <br />appoint an employee to act as Transportation Coordinator with <br />responsibility for disseminating information on ride - sharing and other <br />transportation options may be cause for a reduction in otherwise <br />applicable off - street parking requirements. In addition to acting as <br />liaisons, Transportation Coordinators must be available to attend meetings <br />and training sessions with the City or transit providers. <br />4) Off -Peak Work Hours. Emplovers that institute off -peak work schedules <br />allowing employees to arrive at times other than the peak morning <br />commute period may be eligible for a reduction in otherwise applicable <br />off - street parking_ requirements. The peak morning commute period is <br />defined as 7:00 -9:00 a.m. <br />(5) Preferential Parking The provision of specially marked spaces for each <br />registered car pool and van pool may be cause for a reduction in otherwise <br />applicable off - street parking requirements. <br />r <br />(6) Financial Incentives. The provision of cash or in -kind financial incentives <br />for employees commuting by car pool, van pool and transit may be cause <br />for a reduction in otherwise applicable parkingrequirements. <br />(hh) New or Unclassified Uses. When a proposed land use is not classified in <br />this Section, the parking requirements will be based on the minimum standard which <br />applies to a specified use which is most closely related to the proposed land use, as <br />determined by the Director. <br />(ie) Parking on the Same Lot Required. Except as provided in Chapter 1, <br />Article 2 for circumstances that may be approved by the Zoning Board of Adjustments as <br />a special exception, all required off - street parking spaces shall be located on the same lot <br />or tract as the principal use being served by the parking area. All required parking shall <br />be on a paved surface (see Division 3 of this Article). <br />(id) Off - Street Loading Requirements. In all zoning districts there shall be <br />provided, in connection with appropriate allowable uses, off - street loading facilities in <br />accordance with the following: Any department store, industrial plant, manufacturing <br />establishment, retail establishment, storage warehouse or wholesale establishment, which <br />has an aggregate gross floor area of 10,000 square feet or more, arranged, intended or <br />designed for the use shall be provided with off - street truck loading or unloading berths at <br />least 12 feet wide, 14 feet high and 35 feet long in accordance with the following table. <br />
