RESOLUTION NO. 2010- 12 9 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br />STATE HEALTH SERVICES, VITAL STATISTICS UNIT, <br />FOR THE PROVISION OF ON -LINE VITAL STATISTIC <br />COMPUTER SERVICES FOR THE CITY; AUTHORIZING <br />THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City wishes to participate in the on -line vital statistics computer services program <br />of the Texas Department of State Health Services, Vital Statistics Unit. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached agreement with the Department of State Health Services, Vital <br />Statistics Unit (Contract No. 2011- 036135 -001) for the provision of on -line vital statistic computer <br />services is approved. <br />PART 2. The Interim City Manager, Laurie Moyer, or her designee is authorized to <br />execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
