Special Award Conditions <br />Texas State University & City of San Marcos <br />Page 2 <br />EDA Award No. 08 -01 -04606 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />EDA funds will be used to construct approximately a 20,000 SF building that will house the Texas State <br />University's state -of -the art Commercialization Center in San Marcos, Texas. This facility will be <br />situated in the University's 38 acre science, technology and research park (STAR Park). Through a <br />partnership with the city, the project will also include water /wastewater infrastructure to the facility. <br />Project components include: <br />The commercialization center will include secure wet labs and clean rooms, conference rooms, offices, <br />and a lobby. The facilities will be fully utilized by the University and incubator tenants.
