Special Award Conditions Texas State University & City of San Marcos Page 2 EDA Award No. 08 -01 -04606 PROJECT DESCRIPTION EDA funds will be used to construct approximately a 20,000 SF building that will house the Texas State University's state -of -the art Commercialization Center in San Marcos, Texas. This facility will be situated in the University's 38 acre science, technology and research park (STAR Park). Through a partnership with the city, the project will also include water /wastewater infrastructure to the facility. Project components include: The commercialization center will include secure wet labs and clean rooms, conference rooms, offices, and a lobby. The facilities will be fully utilized by the University and incubator tenants. Additional components include site development with utilities, landscaping, access road, and appurtenances.
