ORDINANCE 2003- 2 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY <br />REZONING A 1.82 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 2213 HUNTER ROAD FROM "LI" <br />LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "C" <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES. <br /> <br />137. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. On September 10, 2002, the Plam~ing arid Zoning Commission of the City of <br />San Mm-cos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "LI" <br />Light Industrial to "C" Commercial District for a 1.82 acre tract of property located at <br />2213 Htmter Road. <br /> <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Plarming and Zoning <br />Commission did, on September 10, 2002 consider and vote to approve the request, and <br />has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 13ttb- day of <br />January ,2003, regarding the request. <br /> <br /> 4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code <br />pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br /> 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. The OfficiaI Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section <br />114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property <br />which is presently zoned "LI" Light Industrial District to "C" Commercial District: <br /> <br />Street address: 2213 Hunter Road. <br /> <br />Size: 1.82 acres. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume i398, page 43, Hays County Deed Records. <br /> <br /> <br />
