RESOLUTION 2010 -152R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />THE WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM CONTRACT <br />FOR PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE <br />TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES; <br />AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1. The City contracts annually with the Texas Department of State Health Services <br />for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (the "WIC <br />Program ") in Hays, Caldwell, Comal and Guadalupe Counties. <br />2. The City Council wishes to authorize continuation of the WIC Program in the <br />City's 2010 -2011 fiscal year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached WIC Contract between the City of San Marcos and the Texas <br />Department of State Health Services is approved. <br />PART 2. The Interim City Manager, Laurie Moyer, is authorized to execute the <br />attached contract on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
