EXHIBIT "C" <br />Specifications for Improvements <br />Starting from the River Center Parking Lot the following is to be constructed: <br />1) Trailhead Informational Sign: This sign will be placed near the River Center parking area and <br />describe the Spring Lake Preserve and direct users to the Preserve entrance. <br />2) Crosswalk Striping /Trail Crossing Signs: Crosswalk Striping will be added across Laurel <br />Ridge Drive to direct users where to cross the road. Road Trail crossing signs will inform drivers <br />that pedestrian crossing is ahead. <br />3) Two Trail Directional Sign Bollards: These small signs will direct users to the Spring Lake <br />Preserve Entrance. <br />4) One Accessible Parking Space with accessible parking sign: One 8'x20' parking space with <br />8'x20' access aisle will be constructed of crushed limestone at the beginning of the trail. <br />5) Split Rail Fence: Twenty linear feet of split rail fence will be constructed to delineate the <br />accessible parking area. <br />6) Trailhead Sign: A sign will be installed near the parking space providing Spring Lake Preserve <br />information, rules and a map. <br />7) Addition of Drain Pipe: Twenty -five linear feet of 18" metal drain pipe will be installed to <br />accommodate the parking area and trailhead. <br />8) Limestone Gravel Trail: Approximately 750 linear feet limestone gravel trail will be constructed <br />to the Preserve property limits. The trail will be six feet wide and ADA/TAS accessible. <br />9) Existing Road Cleaning /Closing: Approximately 450 linear feet of existing paved road will be <br />cleaned of debris to act as apportion of the trail to the Preserve. Limestone boulders will be <br />placed at the end of the road to block vehicular traffic from entering the trail. <br />
