• RESOLUTION 2010 -177R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND LOCKWOOD ANDREWS & NEWNAM, INC. FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH VARIOUS CITY <br />CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS; RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S <br />EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1. On September 23, 2008 the City entered into an agreement with Lockwood <br />Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (the "Consultant ") for the provision of professional project <br />management and engineering services in connection with various City construction projects (the <br />"Agreement ") in a not to exceed amount of $45,000.00. <br />2. The Consultant has submitted, for approval, Authorization of Change in Services <br />No. 1 for additional project management work in the total amount of $46,285.00. <br />3. The approval of this Authorization of Change in Services No. 1 will cause the <br />• Agreement to exceed the original $45,000.00 contract amount, and will trigger the need for City <br />Council approval of the Agreement. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The Agreement between the City and the Consultant, dated September 23, <br />2008 for the provision of professional project management and engineering services in <br />connection with various City construction projects is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager's execution of the Agreement on behalf of the City is <br />ratified. <br />PART 3.
