A. Deliberation regarding City Clerk vacancy • <br />B. Deliberation on offers of possible incentives to entities considering locating or <br />expanding in the San Marcos Community. <br />The Executive Session adjourned at 6:24 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. <br />5. Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed During Executive Session <br />The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October <br />19, 2010. City Council provided directions to Stroman Group to continue to negotiate with a <br />City Clerk candidate. The City Council was provided report from Amy Madison, Director of <br />Economic Development. She was also given direction to negotiation an incentives to the <br />company. <br />6. Invocation <br />Pastor Robert Smith with the Powerhouse Christian Center provided the invocation. <br />7. Pledge of Allegiance <br />The Mayor Narvaiz led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />8. Citizen Comments <br />• Glenn Wier, San Marcos, Texas 78666, he encouraged the City Council to adopt the • <br />Habitat for Humanity exemption. <br />• Terry Nichols, San Marcos, Texas 78666, expressed his concern with an Open Records <br />Request. <br />• Elena Duran, San Marcos, Texas 78666, thanked Mayor Narvaiz for her dedication and <br />hard work. <br />• Maxfield Baker, San Marcos, Texas 78666, he encouraged the City Council to provide <br />direction to allow affordable recycling for apartment complexes. <br />• Dianne Wassenich, San Marcos, Texas 78666, she encouraged the City Council to <br />consider the blind spot in regards to adopting Resolution 2010 -157R. She also stated she <br />is opposed to Zoning Ordinance 2010 -62; she also encouraged the City Council to <br />consider well contamination issues on Ordinance 2010 -59. <br />• Sherri Bilson, San Marcos, Texas 78666, she encouraged the City Council to vote against <br />Zoning Ordinance 2010 -62. <br />• Anita Fuller, San Marcos, Texas 78666, she encouraged the City Council to support <br />Ordinance 2010 -54. <br />9. City Council Reports <br />A.
