4. Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed Durina Executive Session <br />The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />September 21, 2010. The City Council provided direction regarding the City Clerk vacancy <br />and Economic Development incentives. The City Council also received advice of legal council <br />Case No. 10 -1606, Citizens Advocating Responsible Education - S.M.C.I.S.D. v. Kim <br />Porterfield and Susan Narvaiz; in the 274th District Court of Hays County, Texas. <br />5. Invocation <br />Debbie "Morningstar" Adams provided the invocation. <br />6. Pledge of Allegiance <br />The Councilmember Porterfield led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />7. Citizen Comments <br />1. Anita Fuller spoke in support of annexation Item 25, which she feels will provide the <br />missing eliminate to San Marcos. <br />2. Juan Miguel Arredondo supports adoptions of Resolution 2010 -147R Item 31, which he <br />feels is a frivolous lawsuit. <br />3. Pam Couch read a letter of support from Greater San Marcos Economic Development <br />regarding the annexation Item 25. <br />4. Pam Gill - Kimrey spoke in supports annexation Item 25, which she feels the developers <br />have addressed all the concerns of the citizens. <br />5. Ben Ford spoke in opposition to the annexation Item 25, which he feels the aerial roads <br />should be removed from the project. <br />6. Earl Studdard spoke in supports of annexation Item 25 and the Paso Robles Project. <br />7. Shirley Rogers spoke in supports of the annexation Item 25, which she feels is moving <br />San Marcos moving forward in the right direction <br />8. Patrick Price spoke in supports of the annexation Item 25, which he feels this project is <br />moving San Marcos into a positive future <br />9. Fraye Stokes read a letter of support from Kevin Carswell regarding the support of the <br />annexation Item 25. <br />10. Robbie Wiley spoke in support of the annexation Item 25, which she feels all the citizen <br />concerns have been addressed. <br />11. Karlin Clark spoke in support of the annexation Item 25, which she feels the Paso <br />Robles will provide benefits to San Marcos. <br />12. Kate Johnson, Historical Commission, encouraged the City Council to adopt a Master <br />Plan for Dunbar neighborhood. <br />13. H. C. Kyle encouraged the City Council to wait on the Paso Robles projects. <br />14.
