MEMO <br />To: Mayor, City Council, City Manager, and City Staff <br />From: Rebecca Ybarra- Ramirez, San Marcos Convention and Visitor Bureau <br />Date: December 7, 2010 <br />Re: Premiere Shopping Destination Media Plan <br />The goal of the San Marcos CVB is to maintain San Marcos as a premier shopping destination by <br />selecting domestic and international media options included in previous Outlet marketing plans. The San <br />Marcos Convention and Visitor Bureau recommends a mix of media to include domestic magazine, <br />internet, brochure distribution and cinema advertising. International projects include magazine, <br />newspaper, and media projects. <br />A summary and spreadsheet are attached. A total $76,990 in added value has been negotiated.
