Matthew Lewis, Interim Director of Development Services, provided the Council with - an update following recent discussions between staff and business owners in the Central Business Area. City Council provided the following consensus to staff regarding the issuance of Conditional Use Permits: 14 Unrestricted CUPS, 15 Restaurant CUPs, No 50% rule, the CUP would be tied to the location, if the business is without a TABC license for 6 months that will impacts CUP, if the building is Dormant for 6 months that will impact the CUP, reduction of annual review to 1 year. 21.
