Hold a discussion re a� rdin update on amendments to the Land Development Code for <br />issuance of Conditional Use Permits for on- premises consumption of alcoholic beverages <br />in the Central Business Area; and provide direction to Staff. <br />Matthew Lewis, Interim Director of Development Services, provided the Council with - an update <br />following recent discussions between staff and business owners in the Central Business Area. City <br />Council provided the following consensus to staff regarding the issuance of Conditional Use <br />Permits: 14 Unrestricted CUPS, 15 Restaurant CUPs, No 50% rule, the CUP would be tied to the <br />location, if the business is without a TABC license for 6 months that will impacts CUP, if the <br />building is Dormant for 6 months that will impact the CUP, reduction of annual review to 1 year. <br />21.
