<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />LARGE GENERAL SERVICE-PRIMARY <br />Rate Schedule - LGS-Pri <br /> <br />Effective: February 11th, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for large general service electric service at primary voltages on <br />the basis of this Rate Schedule - LGS-Pri. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility <br />Rules and Regulations are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all electric service required by Customer for lighting, power and any other purpose, <br />other than residential service as defined in Rate Schedule - RS, where service to the Customer is at a primary voltage, as <br />defined hereinafter, and the Customer's maximum metered kW demand is 500.0 kW or greater and for which no specific <br />rate schedule is available. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />:!rvice under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the City's option of the standard <br />imary voltages available from the City System. For the purpose of this rate schedule, PRIMARY voltages are defined as <br />)0 volts or greater but less than 69,000 volts. Standby or resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule. <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> <br />Customer Charge (Single or Three Phase) <br /> <br />$700.00 per month <br /> <br />Energy Charge (All Metered kWh) <br /> <br />$0.02862 per kWh <br /> <br />Demand Charge (All Billing kW) <br /> <br />$8.50 per Billing kW <br /> <br />The above rates per kWh will be adjusted plus or minus in accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost <br />Adjustment Clause. The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges <br />imposed by any governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of <br />electricity purchased or sold by the City. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE, the DEMAND CHARGE and all applicable <br />rate adjustments. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility tariffs. doc <br />
