<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL PUMPING SERVICE <br />Rate Schedule - MP <br /> <br />Effective: February 11th, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for municipal pumping service on the basis of this Rate <br />Schedule - MP. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations are <br />incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to the City of San Marcos and agencies of the State of Texas and the United States of <br />America for electric power and energy used for the operation of water and wastewater or sewer pumping requirements. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single or three phase, at the City's option of the <br />standard voltages available from the City System. Resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule. <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> <br />Customer Charge (Single or Three Phase) <br /> <br />$25.00 per month <br /> <br />Energy Charge (All Metered kWh) <br /> <br />$0.0475 per kWh <br /> <br />The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased <br />or sold by the City. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE and all applicable rate adjustments. <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due dates, penalty dates, and disconnection dates for bills shall be linked to the Customers' billing cycles in <br />accordance with the following table of dates for each cycle: <br /> <br />Cycle # Billing Date First Due Date Penalty Date Disconnection Date <br />Cycle 1 16m 151 of following month 5'" of following month 14'" of following month <br />Cycle 2 24m gm of following month 13m of following month 215 of following month <br />Cycle 3 15 16m 20'" 28'" <br />Cycle 4 SU 23ra 27'" 4'" of following month <br /> <br />lY and all amounts not paid before the penalty date shall be assessed a charge in the amount of 10% of the unpaid <br />amount. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility tariffs. doc <br />
