<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS SERVICE CHARGES <br />Rate Schedule - MSC <br /> <br />II Effective: February 11th, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for miscellaneous service charges on the basis of this Rate <br />Schedule - MSC. <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all customers throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility <br />System (the "City System"). <br /> <br />SERVICE CHARGES <br /> <br />The following charges are applicable for the described miscellaneous services: <br /> <br /> <br />$20.00 <br />$30.00 <br />$20.00 <br />$30.00 <br />$10.00 <br />$20.00 <br />$100.00 <br />$15.00 <br />$15.00 <br />$5.00 <br /> <br /> <br />CONNECTION FEE - NEW ACCOUNT <br /> <br />This charge shall be made for the costs associated with setting a meter at an existing location and the costs associated <br />with establishing a new customer account on the books and records of the City. If a customer applies for service before <br />4:00 PM, the customer will be connected the same day. If a customer applies after 4:00 PM, but before 5:00 PM, the <br />customer will be connected the following business day or pay double the connect fee in order to be connected the same <br />day. <br /> <br />NEW SERVICE CHARGE <br /> <br />This charge shall be in addition to the Connection Fee-New Account charge when a permanent electric service is installed <br />for the first time to a new structure or a new point of delivery. <br /> <br />NON-PAYMENT RECONNECT CHARGE <br /> <br />This charge shall be made when electric service to a customer has been disconnected due to the customer's <br />non-payment of a bill and reconnection of service, after payment of all past due amounts, is performed during normal <br />business hours. If a customer applies for service before 4:00 PM, the customer will be reconnected the same day. If a <br />customer applies after 4:00 PM, but before 5:00 PM, the customer will be reconnected the following business day or pay <br />double the reconnect fee in order to be reconnected the same day. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility tariffs.doc <br />
