<br />102. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 20 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE WAIVER OF <br />DEVELOPMENT FEES FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - SAN <br />MARCOS AREA; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. Habitat for Humanity - San Marcos Area has requested a waiver of the City's development <br />fees for new single-family homes to be constructed in the City. <br /> <br />2. Habitat for Humanity - San Marcos Area has CDBG funds provided by the City for <br />property acquisition. <br /> <br />3. The City Council wishes to support the affordable housing efforts of Habitat for Humanity <br />- San Marcos Area, and is willing to grant the fee waiver request. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The waiving of development fees, including contractors licensing fees, and other <br />than utility impact fees, that would be assessed during the remainder of calendar year 2002 in <br />connection with the construction of single-family homes in the City by Habitat for Humanity - San <br />Marcos Area is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2.
