ADDENDUM TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />This Addendum is made to the Memorandum of Understanding previously entered into <br />between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State <br />University) on June 15, 1999 relating to cooperation and coordination of police services. <br />Section 3.03 of the Memorandum of Understanding is hereby amended to read in its <br />entirety as follows: <br />"3.03. The City specifically authorizes Texas State University's peace officers to <br />enforce all ordinances found in any chapter of the San Marcos City Code with the <br />exception of ordinances found in any chapter of Subpart B – Land Development Code. <br />2. All references in the Memorandum of Understanding to "Southwest Texas State <br />University" are hereby amended to refer to "Texas State University -San Marcos" and all <br />references to "SWT" are amended to refer to "Texas State." <br />3. All other provisions of Memorandum of Understanding shall remain in full force and <br />effect except as modified by this Addendum. <br />4. This Addendum shall become effective when it has been signed by the San Marcos City <br />Manager and the President of Texas State University. <br />APPROVED: <br />Howard E.
