Ms. Cowan stated she has held elections <br />for several school districts and water districts, which are non partisan <br />elections. Mr. Guerrero inquired whether the citizens of San Marcos could <br />view the new eSlate equipment. Ms. Cowan stated citizens are welcome to <br />come and view the equipment at her office located at 401 -C Broadway between <br />the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday- Friday. She also stated she is <br />currently training speakers to provide demonstrations to the public. Mr. <br />Guerrero inquired whether citizens can demonstrate the new equipment <br />online. Ms. Cowan stated the County will soon be demonstrating the new <br />equipment on the Hays County website. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on <br />first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION 82.067 OF THE <br />SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO CHANGE THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE 600 BLOCK OF <br />BROADWAY STREET FROM "NO PARKING ANYTIME" TO "NO PARKING - TOW AWAY <br />MON. - FRI. 7:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
