He stated he <br />is concerned regarding the Council not prioritizing the housing <br />rehabilitation program. He stated there are several homes and families in <br />San Marcos that need assistance. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced the Staff Report. 1) Mr. O'Leary provided Council <br />with Staff's responses to Council Direction during the Budget Policy <br />Statement Workshop. 2) Mr. O'Leary reminded Council of the Texas State <br />Master Plan Workshop scheduled for Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced the City Council Reports. 1) Mr. Taylor stated he <br />attended the paperless agenda demonstration which was presented by <br />Municipal Code. He stated he was very impressed with this product and will <br />give a report later in the meeting. 2) Mr. Thomaides thanked the Texas <br />State students who participated in the Bobcat Build projects. 3) Mayor <br />Narvaiz stated she appreciates all the Bobcat Build volunteers that helped <br />with several projects around the community. 4) Mayor Narvaiz read a letter <br />from Savannah Club Apartments thanking City Staff for their <br />professionalism. 5) Mayor Narvaiz thanked Shelley Goodwin, Paul Goodwin <br />and Bobette Bandy for their volunteer work with the Pony League Barbeque. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting held March 21, 2005, approval of one Ordinance on third and <br />final reading, and adoption of five Resolutions, on consent. The Council <br />removed Items 12, 14 and 15, adoption of Resolutions, to be considered <br />separately. Mr. Diaz moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting held March 21, 2005, approval of one Ordinance on third and final <br />reading and adoption of the remaining two Resolutions, on consensus, and <br />Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
