On February 8, 2005, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos <br />held a public hearing regarding a request to change the Future Land Use Map of the San Marcos <br />Horizons City Master Plan from Low Density Residential and High Density Residential to <br />Medium Density Residential, and a concurrent request to change the zoning from "MF-l" Multi- <br />Family District (Low Density) to "MF-12" Multiple-Family Residential District, for a 0.72 acre, <br />more or less, tract of land located at 926 Chestnut Street. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />considered and voted to approve the requests on February 8, 2005, and recommended that the <br />requests be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on April 5, 2005 <br />requests. <br /> <br />regarding the <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 1, Development Procedures, of the City Land <br />Development Code pertaining to Future Land Use Map Amendments and Zoning Map <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby fmds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City 11Jaster Plan is <br />revised to change the future land use designation for the following real property from Low <br />Density Residential and High Density Residential to Medium Density Residential: <br /> <br />Street address: 926 Chestnut Street <br />
