60. ~ CIJ LM 0 8i t::) ~e t::) a:<<l <"'-' w~ W~ ~ ...Jc; ...Jb ,.... 0<<, :>cn ~I 0:: t-- <( -0 U>. t( ::= - <3 ORDINANCE NO. 2005- 30 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.16 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1515 POST ROAD FROM "M" SINGLE-F AMIL Y, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "SF-6" SINGLE- F AMIL Y DISTRICT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. RECITALS: 1. On March 8, 2005, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "Mlt Single-Family, Duplex and Neighborhood Business to "SF-6" Single-Family District for a 0.16 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1515 Post Road. 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission did, on March 8, 2005 consider and vote to approve the request, and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 5th day of 2005, regarding the request. April 4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. 5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to change the zoning for the following real property from "M" Single-Family, Duplex, and Neighborhood Business District to "SF-6" Single-Family District: Street address: 1515 Post Road. Size: 0.16 acre, more or less. Legal description: Lot 15, Block 1, Wm. Goforth Addition.
