<br />14. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 70 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL CONTRACT <br />WITH CANON IV OF TEXAS, INC., FOR THE PROVISION OF LASER <br />PRINTER MAINTENANCE AND SUPPLIES; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 8, 2002, the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract for the provision of laser printer maintenance and supplies (the "Contract") <br />with Print Assist. <br /> <br />2 On June 9,2003 and again on June 14,2004 the contract was extended for <br />an additional year. <br /> <br />3. On February 17, 2005, Print Assist changed its name to Canon IV of Texas, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />4. Both parties agree to extend the Contract for a final year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Canon IV of Texas, Inc. for the <br />provision of laser printer maintenance for a final year is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to <br />execute appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
