0 RESOLUTION 2011 - 3 9 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE ANY AND ALL GRANT AND FUNDING AGREEMENTS AND <br />RELATED IMPLEMENTATION DOCUMENTS FOR GRANT AND <br />FUNDING APPLICATIONS, AGREEMENTS AND PROGRAMS <br />PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City Council previously authorized predecessors to the current City Manager <br />to execute various applications, agreements and implementation documents for grants and <br />funding from agencies including, but not limited to the United States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. <br />2. Such entities seek clarification that the previous authorizations of the City Council <br />extend to the current and any succeeding City Manager. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the previous authorizations of the City Council for grant and funding <br />applications and agreements under programs administered by the United States Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development, the Texas Department of Housing and Community <br />Development and other entities extend to the current and any succeeding City Manager. <br />PART 2. The current and any succeeding City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute any agreements and related implementation documents associated with such grant or <br />funding awards and programs within the limits of the previous authorizations of the City <br />Council. <br />PART 3.
