Hopkins <br />San Marcos, Texas 78666 <br /> <br />Re: Flood Protection Planning Grant <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Anderson, <br /> <br />Hays County is pleased to support the City's grant application to the Texas <br />Water Development Board to study structural and non-structural alternatives <br />for flood damage reduction and remediation. We recommend a <br />comprehensive watershed analysis be conducted as this will benefit more <br />residents. <br /> <br />The County will pledge in-kind services for technical assistance in the form <br />of planning, development and review of alternatives, GIS data provision, and <br />other services as may be needed for an amount up to $5,000. <br /> <br />We strongly encourage TVIDB approval of this graIlt and look fonvard to <br />working with the City on this project. <br /> <br /> <br />~ ~~~~ - <br /> <br />Allen G.
