Div Re: City of San Marcos Application for Fiscal Year 2005 Research and Planning Fund Flood Protection Planning Grants Dear Ms. Garcia: Thank you for your letter dated December 22, 2004 regarding missing or incomplete items in our application. The following provides a response to your questions. Section I - GENERAL INFORMATION - Nos. 7. 8 & 9 The $33,500 not identified in either the grant funds from TWB or in the City's cash contribution is in the form of in-kind services performed by the City of San Marcos personnel. Please refer to Attachment #6 in the application under Expense Budget. The $433,500 is comprised of $400,000 to the Engineering Consultant, $17,500 ofin-kind services from GBRA, etc. and $16,000 of in-kind City services. Section IT - PLANNING INFORMATION No. 17 - The planning area map is shown in Attachment #1 - Drainage Area Map. These drainage basins are the extent of planning area. No. 33 - Please find attached the revised expense budget by category. The original format of this budget is in Excel which produced the rounding error you identified.' Section IV - PROOF OF NOTIFICTION The attached letter of authorization from the City Manager allows me to act in his behalf for requests, correspondence and reviews for this grant. According to Mr. Ward this authorization should allow the grant to move forward with the letters as attached.
