The Traffic Register, required by Section 82.067 of the City Code of <br />Ordinances, needs to be amended to allow parked cars to be towed from the north <br />side of the 400 block of Burleson Street in order to allow mail delivery. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 82.161 ofthe City of San Marcos Code <br />of Ordinances, the Traffic Register is amended to add a no parking zone for cars <br />parked on the north side of the 400 block of Burleson Street and to place attendant <br />signage stating "No Parking - Tow Away Mon.-Sat. 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this <br />ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent <br />jurisdiction, the other provisions ofthis ordinance will continue in force ifthey can be <br />given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and <br />after its passage, and the City Clerk will publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in the City. <br />
