<br />138. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005 - qR R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") PROGRAM INCOME; <br />APPROVING THE REALLOCATION OF UNUSED 2003 CDBG FUNDS <br />FROM A PREVIOUS PROJECT TO CURRENT CDBG PROJECTS; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. There is currently $133,000.00 in CDBG program income available for <br />allocation towards eligible CDBG projects. <br /> <br />2. There is a remaining balance of $103,000.00 from the Hays Caldwell <br />Women's Shelter Project which was allocated in 2003 (Acct.# 250-335-56156). <br /> <br />3. The City Council has conducted a public hearing on the allocation of the <br />$133,000.00 in CDBG Program Income and the reallocation of $103,000.00 in unused <br />CDBG funds from 2003, and wishes to reallocate these funds towards the construction of <br />various City of San Marcos sidewalk projects. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The allocation of $133,000.00 in CDBG program income and the <br />reallocation of $103,000.00 in unused CDBG funding from 2003 to the following projects <br />is approved: <br /> <br />1. South Guadalupe SIdewalk Project <br />2.
