<br />for uses located outside the City limits will be granted only with the approval of the City <br />Manager. Each such application must be accompanied by a written request for <br />annexation of the applicant's property. <br /> <br />(c) Extensions of City Water or Wastewater System Outside the City Limits. Applications for <br />extensions of City water or wastewater mains to serve a property located outside the city <br />limits will be granted only with the approval of the City Council. An application for <br />approval of such an extension must be accompanied by a written request for annexation <br />of the applicant's property. If the property is not contiguous to the city limits, the <br />application must be accompanied bv a written request for annexation of an area at least <br />15 feet in width from each property owner or, for public right-of-way, the entity having <br />iurisdiction over the right-of-way, along the intended route of the line extension. <br /> <br />(d) Annexation requests must be submitted on forms approved by the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Section 704.2. 1 (c) of the City Land Development Code is amended as follows <br />(underlining indicates added text; oyerstrike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />(c) Sidewalks, driveway approaches, curbs, gutters, pavements and appurtenances on public <br />property and other facilities to provide access to abutting properties in the City and ETJ <br />in cOlll1ection with platting or building construction shall be constructed, provided, <br />altered or repaired in accordance with "City of Austin Standard Specifications!! the TCSS <br />and as prescribed by the standards outlined within this Division. These standards are <br />available in the TCSS Manual. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The introductory paragraph of Section 4.4.2.1 (a) ofthe City Land Development <br />Code is amended as follows (underlining indicates added text; overstrike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />(a) Applicability. The standards and criteria contained within this section are deemed to be <br />minimum standards and shall apply to all new, altered or repaired (more than 50% of <br />current value) construction of multi-family residential and nonresidential buildings <br />within the City, except for those located within the Heavy Industrial zoning districts or <br />on the San Marcos Municipal Airport property. Residential uses other than multi-family <br />are exempted. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. Section 7 A.IA( q) of the City Land Development Code is amended as follows <br />(underlining indicates added text; overstrike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />(q) Pavement Widths and Rights-of-Way. Pavement widths and rights-of-way shall be as <br />specified in the Technical Manual and in the San Marcos Maior Thoroughfare Plan.
