Code, Cllapter 60, <br />Subchapter A~F are incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />* Funds may not be expended on grants to organizations that make contributions to campaigns for elective office or that <br />endorse candidat~. <br /> <br />* The authorized signator and grant contact agree that grant funds will not be used to influence the outcome of any <br />election, the passage or defeat oflegislation, or the funding of any grant. <br /> <br />* It is understood that a violation of any term of the grant will result in the Office of the Attorney General placing a <br />temporary hold on grant funds, perrnanentlydeobligating all or part of the grant funds, requiring reimbursement for <br />funds already spent, or barring the grantee from receiving future fimds. <br /> <br />* The authorized signator and grant contact understand that they must satisfy all special conditions placed on this grant <br />before receiving any funds. (See Statement of Grant Award for Special Conditions). <br /> <br />* Grantee understands that acceptance offunds under this contract, acts as acceptance of the authority of the OAG, the <br />State Auditor's Office, or any successor agency, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. <br />Grantee further agrees to cooperate fully with the OAG, the State Auditor's office or its succ~sor in the conduct of the <br />audit or inv~tigation. including providing all records requ~ted. Grantee will ensure fuat this clause concerning fue <br />authority to audit funds received indirectly by subcontractors through Grantee and the requirement to cooperate is <br />included in any subcontract it awards.
