Taggart <br />City of San Marcos <br />630 East Hopkins Street <br />San Marcos, Texas 78666-6314 <br /> <br />Re: City of San Marcos, Permit No. WQOOI0273002 and approved Pretreatment Program <br />Substantial Modification <br />(CN600521272;~100838648) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Taggart: <br /> <br />Enclosed is a copy of the above referenced permit and approved Pretreatment Program Substantial <br />Modification for a wastewater treatment facility issued on behalf ofthe Executive Director pursuant <br />to Chapter 26 ofthe Texas Water Code. <br /> <br />Self-reporting or Discharge Monitoring Forms and instructions will be forwarded to you from the <br />Water Quality Management Information Systems Team so that you may comply with monitoring <br />requirements. For existing facilities, revised forms will be fOlwarded if monitoring requirements <br />have changed. Enclosed is a "Notification of Completion of Wastewater Treatment Facilities" form. <br />Use this form when the facility begins to operate or goes into a new phase. The form notifies the <br />agency when the proposed facility is completed or when it is placed in operation. This notification <br />complies with the special proyision incorporated into the permit. <br /> <br />For newly approyed pretreatment programs, annual report forms and instructions will be forwarded <br />to you from the Storm Water & Pretreatment Team so that you may comply with the Texas Pollutant <br />Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) pretreatment program monitoring. and reporting <br />requirements. For existing pretreatment programs, revised fonns will be forwarded if the TPDES <br />pretreatment program monitoring or reporting requirements have changed. The monitoring forms <br />for wastewater treatment facilities with industrial users are contained within the Pretreatment <br />Requirements Section of each TPDES permit, as applicable. <br /> <br />P.O.
