<br />25. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 11 7 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br />EASTER SEALS CENTRAL TEXAS FOR VEGETATION CONTROL ON <br />CITY PROPERTY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The prc\curement of services described in the attached agreement with <br />Easter Seals-Central Texas is approved as an exception to competitive bidding <br />requirements, under Sections 122.004 and 122.005, Human Resources Code. <br /> <br />PART 2. The attached agreement between the City and Easter Seals Central Texas <br />as certified by Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped for vegetation control on <br />City property is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4.
