<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />SMALL GENERAL SERVICE <br />Rate Schedule - SGS <br /> <br />Effective: October 1, 2005 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for small general service electric service on the basis of this <br />Rate Schedule - SGS. The Power Cost Recovery Factor and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations <br />are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all electric service required by Customer for lighting, power and any other purpose, <br />other than residential service as defined in Rate Schedule - RS, where the Customer's maximum metered kW demand is <br />less than 50.0 W. If the metered kWh exceeds 3,600 kWh for three consecutive months, the City may install demand <br />metering equipment. If the maximum metered kW demand is 50.0 kW or greater for any two months during any twelve <br />month period, the City will transfer the Customer to the then applicable general service rate schedule. <br /> <br />CtiARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />~rvice under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the City's option of the standard <br />vultages available from the City System. The City may, at its option, provide three phase service when individual motors <br />rated at 5.0 horsepower or larger are connected to the City System. Standby or resale service is not permitted under this <br />rate schedule. <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> <br />Customer Charge (Single or Three Phase) <br /> <br />$10.00 per month <br /> <br />Energy Charge (All Metered kWh) <br /> <br />$.0190 per kWh <br /> <br />Power Cost Recovery Factor <br /> <br />Standard PCRF or Choose to Renew PCRF <br />(based on availability) <br />See Program Guidelines for details. <br /> <br />The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased <br />or sold by the City. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE and all applicable rate adjustments. <br /> <br />Page 3 <br />
