<br />The following definitions in Section 202 are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Code official. The fire marshal or a duly authorized representative. <br /> <br />Facility. A building or use in a fixed location, including exterior storage areas, piers, <br />wharves, tank farms, and similar uses. This term includes recreational vehicles, <br />mobile home parks, manufactured housing parks, sales lots, and storage lots. <br /> <br />Section 307.1 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />307.1. Open burning prohibited. No person shall burn refuse in the city limits. <br /> <br />Section 308.2 is amended by adding the following subsection: <br /> <br />308.2.2. Outdoor cooking. It is unlawful to use or to store a charcoal burner, open <br />flame, LP gas burner, outdoor grill, barbecue, or other outdoor cooking appliance <br />with open flame on the premises of a residential building with three or more dwelling <br />units or of a multifamily residential building with two or more stories. The provision <br />does not apply to the use of permanently mounted outdoor cooking devices located <br />ten or more feet from any structure. <br /> <br />Section 315.2 is amended by adding the following subsection: <br /> <br />315.2.6. High-piled combustible storage. High-piled combustible storage shall <br />comply with section 2301. <br /> <br />Section 401.1 is amended by deleting the exception. <br /> <br />Section 403 is amended by adding the following: <br /> <br />403.3. Enforceability. The public safety plan, as described in 403.1 and approved by <br />the fire official, shall be complied with and is enforceable under provisions of this <br />code. Any violation of the plan shall be punishable by a fine of at least $500.00. <br /> <br />Section 503.1.1 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />503.1.1. Buildings and Facilities. Approved fire apparatus access roads shall be <br />provided for every facility, building, or portion of a building. The fire apparatus <br />access road shall comply with the requirements of this section and shall extend to <br />within 150 feet (45,720 mm) of all portions of the facility or any portion of the <br />exterior wall of the first story of the building as measured by an approved route <br />around the exterior of the building or facility. <br /> <br />C:\TEMPlmark's tire code 2-6-02.doc <br /> <br />- 4 - <br />
