" <br />-~ <br />'CA <br />t{ <br /> <br />o <br />~ :It: E <br />R a:: ('f <br />w:E <br />-' ...J c:: <br />0('0 <br />~ >w <br />~ t::: '0 <br /><( 0 >- <br />~ - <br />(3 <br /> <br />78. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2002- 28 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A <br />483 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF PROPERTY <br />CONSISTING OF WILLOW CREEK ESTATES <br />SUBDIVISION SECTIONS 2, 2A, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, lOA <br />AND lOB, THE RIDGE AT WILLOW CREEK <br />SUBDIVISION, SECTIONS.1 AND 2, AND THE RIDGE <br />AT STONECLIFF SUBDIVISION AS "RR" RURAL <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENAL TIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On February 12, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from <br />"Unzoned" to "RR" Rural Residential District for a 483 acre tract of property consisting <br />of Willow Creek Estates Subdivision Sections 2, 2A, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, lOA and lOB, the <br />Ridge at Willow Creek Subdivision, Sections 1 and 2, and the Ridge at Stonecliff <br />Subdivision. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission did, on February 12,2002 consider and vote to approve the request, and has <br />recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 8 th <br />April ,2002, regarding the request. <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code <br />pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section <br />114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to establish the zoning for the <br />following real property, which is presently unzoned, as "RR" Rural Residential District: <br /> <br />a) Willow Creek, Section 2, as recorded in Volume 2, Page 33 of the Hays <br />County Plat Records; <br />
