M. RAMSAY ADDITION, LOCATED AT 232 UHLAND <br />ROAD FROM "M" SINGLE-F AMIL Y, DUPLEX AND <br />NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "MF-2" MULTI- <br />F AMIL Y DISTRICT (MEDIUM DENSITY); INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On February 26, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "M" Single-Family, <br />Duplex and Neighborhood Business District to "MF-2" Multi-Family District ( Medium <br />Density) for Lot 51 in the A.M. Ramsay Subdivision located at 232 Uhland Road. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />did, on February 26, 2002 consider and vote to approve the request, and has recommended that <br />the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 8th day of April <br />2001, regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to <br />zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 of <br />the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property which is presently <br />zoned "M" Single-Family, Duplex and Neighborhood Business District to "MF-2" Multi-Family <br />District (Medium Density): <br /> <br />Street address: 232 Uhland Road <br /> <br />Legal description: Lot 51 of the A.M. Ramsay Subdivision. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 89, page 477-479, of the Hays County Deed Records. <br />
