To accomplish this combination of uses successfully, the PDD shall have a base <br />zoning of Mixed Use (MU). <br />The MU District is intended to provide for a mixture of retail, office, and residential uses in close <br />proximity to enable people to live, work, and purchase necessities in a single location. Within <br />the MU District, the mixing of residential uses in conjunction with retail development is <br />envisioned through the permitting of variety of residential uses including loft apartments and <br />traditional multi - family apartments.
