headwall. Downstream of this headwall an earthen or rock berm will be constructed
west/east along a singular contour elevation to dissipate the concentrated flow before it
reaches the back of the adjacent drainageway to the south. See Figure 3.
TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL. To the extent feasible storm -water runoff during
construction will be directed via berms and/or piping into the detention chamber which
will act as a temporary sediment trap during construction. Detention pond outlets will be
temporarily blocked to prevent release of storm - water. An alternative or additional storm -
water control will consist of either an earthen or rock berm located downstream of the
building along the south property line near the southeast property corner to act as a
sediment trap (see Figure 4). Release of trapped water from either type of sediment trap
will be either by a perforated riser pipe or by pumping.
alone/ heeler, Inc.
Engineering & Development Consultants
7500 Rialto Blvd, Bldg 1, Suite 240
Austin, Texas 78735
Phone: (512) 899-0601 Fax: (512) 899 -0655
Firm Registration No. F -786
