If a card is requested for a peddler, the following information is also required: <br />(1) The name and permanent address of the business offering the event, <br />activity, good or service (i.e., the peddler's principal or employer). <br />(2) A copy of the principal's sales tax license as issued by the state. <br />(3) The location where books and records are kept of sales which occur within <br />the city and which are available for city inspection to determine that all <br />city sales taxes have been paid. <br />(c) <br />ffOfA aff5' table, befi6h, bO*, OGUfiteF OF r-eeeptarle of any kifid while standing oF being in <br />or open the publie square the publie stFeets, alleys E) - -: <br />If a card is requested for <br />a solicitor, the following information is also required: <br />(1) The name and permanent address of the organization, person, or group for <br />whom donations (or proceeds ) are accepted. <br />(2) The web address for this organization, person, or group (or other address) <br />where residents having ubsequent questions can go for more information. <br />Sec. 18.153. Identification card fee. <br />(a) The identification card fee for each peddler or solicitor shall be ten dollars <br />($10.00), or as hereafter adopted by resolution of the city council from time to time. <br />(b) Identification cards shall be valid for 90 days from the date of their <br />issuance. The fees herein provided for shall be used for the purpose of defray <br />expenses incident to the issuing of said identification cards. <br />Sec. 18.154. Investigation. <br />(a) During any time following the he application for one or more identification <br />cards and its issuance, the Chief of Police may investigate as to the truth and accuracy of <br />the information contained in the application. <br />
