RESOLUTION 2011 - 5 8 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN <br />SERVICES NO. 1 TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND T.R. <br />CONTRACTING, LLC FOR THE PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL <br />CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES; INCREASING THE <br />ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT FROM $45,000.00 TO $165,000.00; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN SERVICES AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS <br />1. On February 24, 2011, the City entered into an agreement with T.R. Contracting, <br />LLC (the "Agreement ") for the provision of construction inspection services for city construction <br />projects. <br />2. It is necessary to increase the amount of the Agreement to provide for additional <br />construction inspection services for additional projects; however, the funding required by this <br />Authorization of Change in Services No. 1 will cause the Agreement to exceed the authorized <br />threshold of $50,000.00. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Authorization of Change in Services No. 1 for $120,000.00 <br />to the Agreement with T.R. Contracting, LLC is approved. <br />PART 2. The increase of the original contract amount from $45,000.00 to <br />$165,000.00 is approved <br />PART 3. The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached Authorization of <br />Change in Services on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 17th day of May, 2011. <br />
