<br />Sector Five <br /> <br />Chapter 4 - Action Plan <br /> <br />SECTOR FIVE <br />Chapter 4 - Action Plan <br /> <br />I ntrod uction <br /> <br />Once the future land use plan for Sector Five had been developed, an action plan was <br />created to achieve it. The Sector Five Action Plan for is a set of specific implementation <br />actions that will turn the Sector Five Future Land Use Plan into a reality. <br /> <br />Implementation Actions <br /> <br />Plan Adoption & Amendment <br /> <br />. The City formally adopts this Sector Five Plan as an element of the Horizons Master <br />Plan. <br />. The City will review the Sector Five Plan periodically to ensure that it remains current <br />and relevant to changing conditions in the community. <br />. The City will implement the Sector Five Future Land Use Plan as development <br />occurs. <br /> <br />Regulation <br /> <br />Zoning <br />Zoning regulations control the location, type, intensity, character, and design of <br />development on individual properties. The Zoning Ordinance is the most important and <br />most cost effective means of implementing the recommendations of this plan. <br /> <br />. City Staff will, when authorized by the City Council or the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, prepare city-initiated zoning cases to resolve conflicts between the <br />future land use map and the existing zoning map. <br /> <br />Other Plans and Studies <br /> <br />.
