68.

l'
!I

Amendment to Consolidated Pian
Currently, the City has 10 areas that are High Priority in our Consolidated Plan.
Housing - Rental units of large families
Housing - Ownership units, rehab and housing assistance
Housing - Homeless shelters and transitional housing
Removal of Architectural Barriers
Senior Citizens

Flood Drainage
Sidewalks
Parks
Youth Centers
Transportation Services

HUD highly recommends that if you designate an item as a high priority, you fund it over the 5 year Consolidated Plan.
Although Affordable Rental Units and Transportation Services are community needs, it is unlikely that our CDBG allocation
could fully fund projects of this magnitude.

Amendments to our Consolidated Plan include designating Rental Units and Transportation Services as a Medium priority.
It will also add Youth Services, Public Facilities Improvements and Public Services as San Marcos High Priority
Needs. These added categories have historically been the main focus and funding expenditures of our CDBG funds.
Attached is list of our Consolidated Plan amendments.
